Every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Brighton Marina hosts the Mermaid market with over 50 stalls packed with arts, crafts, alternative gifts and foods, plus live entertainment. You can also grab a bargain at the flea market located in the upper car park on Sunday mornings, but arrive early as it closes at midday.
Tucked away in the heart of the North Laine, Brighton every Saturday the new market on the block is proving to be very popular and rightly so, with produce ranging from cheeses, vegetables, fruit, breads, fish, all from local producers and growers. There’s also flower stalls and a café – local food tasting miles better!

The weekly Churchill Square Farmers Market runs ever Wednesday on the piazza with a wide variety of stalls. Snap up fresh local produce including fruit and veg; fish that has been caught the very same morning! Browse the stalls selling jams, chutneys, olives, freshly baked bread, cheeses or treat yourself to a homemade cupcake or a cheeky pastry. Grab a bite to eat for lunch, or buy your weekly groceries. You can even pick up a present from one of the stalls selling craft or even a beautifully hand carved duck!
