Ten Green Bottles, the boutique wine shop and tasting room in Brighton that specialises in offering little known exclusive wines direct from the vineyard, have devised a range of special tastings, classes and events that provide an expert insight into the intimidating world of wine.
Less than an hour from London, a few minutes from the station and a stone’s throw from the best restaurants, bars and stylish seaside hotels the city has to offer, join owners and wine aficionados Sam Devaney and Simon Broad for an array of tastings that will be sure to turn enthusiastic amateurs into virtuosos of the vino variety.
Perfect for team-building events, office away days, birthday parties and sophisticated hen nights, choose from a variety of fun yet informative events that help distinguish your Cabernets from your Chardonnays and your Syrahs from your Sauvignon Blancs.
Introduction to Wine Tasting
Novices will welcome the introductory wine tasting classes. Cutting through the industry jargon, this relaxed and accessible event allows you to learn a little and drink a lot, all in the company of some of the best wines available in the UK today. You’ll get to grips with different grape varieties, wine regions, producers and production techniques.
Call on your competitive side and put your taste buds to the test with the Ten Green Bottles ‘Wine Challenge’. Teams of discerning drinkers can lock-horns and compete for bragging rights in a blind taste off as they attempt to identify the subtle flavour profiles of three white and three red wines, showing off what they know and matching them to their individual tasting notes. Particularly appropriate for inter-department events and challenging work colleagues.
The Introduction to Wine Tasting and Wine Challenge cost £25 per person and include complimentary bar bites and a glass of fizz on arrival.
