Vive La France!

January 26, 2012toJanuary 28, 2012

Melting Vinyl, in association with Bureau Export, welcomes an impressive collection of French artists and labels to Brighton for the fourth annual Vive La France! Festival. Four venues will provide outlets for an eclectic mix of explosive Electro-Pop, enchanting Chanson, ever popular performances from local French artists under the ‘French Connection’ banner as well as a hearty dose of French-infused World Music, Hip Hop, and film; all guaranteed to impress both connoisseurs and newcomers to the scene.
Among the highlights of this year’s programme will be performances from breakthrough artists such as Francois and The Atlas Mountains, College, Tuzi and Polarsets, and a very special screening of ‘Amelie’ with a performance from Mélaine Pain from Nouvelle Vague, but with a number of gastronomic delights – courtesy of Mange Tout and Plateau – industry discussions and after show DJs also in store, there’ll be something for every Francophile at this year’s festival.
